About Casa Tango

Casa Tango is located 12 miles south of Puerto Vallarta

in the small fishing village called Boca de Tomatlan.

This is a peaceful, seaside village

where the  Rio de Tomatlan meets the sea...

the beach has several restaurants offering breakfast and lunch until early evening, the village has a few small stores offering the basics and a couple of restaurants which open for dinner.

to get to casa tango you must cross the river - in a small boat, on foot using a little bridge or (tides permitting) by paddling!-

then you follow a lovely little jungle trail surrounded by banana trees,

coco palms, papaya trees and many birds, butterflies.....

or - if you prefer - you can take a boat from the beach directly to the house (as we do on your arrival)

Coming to Boca you have to appreciate that you are in a tropical

environment with a few mosquitos and some night life bugs - insect repellent works wonders!

If required we offer an airport pick-up service.

We meet  you at the airport in front of Avis Car Rentals

On the way to Casa Tango we stop at the supermarket for groceries

then travel to the beach at Boca where we hire a little boat and take you to Casa Tango and help you get settled in.

For this we charge $50 and $35 to take you back to the airport

Casa Tango has 2 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms (2 ensuite),

the living room includes a sofa bed, and there are 2 loft beds suitable for older children. The house has a large terrace with tables for dining, a hammock and lounge chairs for relaxing and a little BBQ. The kitchen is very well equipped and comprises a 2 ring gas burner, microwave, coffee maker, toaster, blender and purified bottled water.

We offer Casa Tango by the day, week or month.

Subject to availabilty we offer snorkeling and basic fishing equipment at very reasonable rates.
